(1) The safety valve shall be installed vertically, and shall be installed at the ≤ position of the drum (shell) and the header. There shall be no steam or hot water pipelines and valves installed between the safety valve and the drum (shell) or between the safety valve and the header;
(2) If several safety valves are jointly installed on the short pipe directly connected to one drum (shell), the flow sectional area of the short pipe shall not be less than the sum of the flow sectional areas of all safety valves;
(3) Threaded spring safety valves shall comply with GB/T12241 General Requirements for Safety Valves; The safety valve shall be connected with the threaded short pipe, and the connection between the short pipe and the drum (shell) or the header barrel shall be of welded structure.
