The difference between forged steel ball valves and cast steel ball valves

Forged steel ball valve is a valve made by casting. Generally, the pressure rating of cast valves is relatively low (such as PN16, PN25, PN40, but there are also high-pressure ones, which can reach 1500LB, 2500LB), and most of the diameters are DN50 or above. Forged valves are forged and usually used on high-grade pipelines, with a relatively small diameter, usually below DN50. A valve with a cast steel ball valve opening and closing component (ball) driven by the valve stem and rotating around the axis of the valve stem. Mainly used to cut off or connect media in pipelines, it can also be used for fluid regulation and control. Among them, the hard sealed V-shaped ball valve has a strong shear force between its V-shaped core and the metal valve seat welded with hard alloy, which is particularly suitable for media containing fibers, small solid particles, and other materials.
Ball valves are generally divided into handle ball valves, pneumatic ball valves, electric ball valves, cast iron ball valves, stainless steel ball valves, all copper ball valves, etc. A ball valve relies on a rotating valve to make the valve open or closed. Ball valves are lightweight, small in size, and can be made into large diameters. They are reliable in sealing, have a simple structure, and are easy to maintain. The sealing surface and spherical surface are often in a closed state, and are not easily eroded by media. They are widely used in various industries.
